We have twins who are about 3 years old and fall in the “large toddler” category. They can’t be trusted in regular kitchen chairs just yet and have outgrown their booster seats (Fisher Price Healthy Care). Any recommendations on a booster for a twin tag team situation?! On a side note, we have Stokke Tripp Trapp high chairs and in the chair mode could potentially accommodate a booster. Thanks!

Hi Aileen! Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any specific products on the market that are made for benches. However, I would recommend looking for a booster that has safety straps. You could hopefully use one of the straps to go around the bottom of the bench. Look for non-skid bottoms and buckles so your little doesn’t slide out. Hope that helps!

Thanks!

Hi Charli! What about purchasing a cheap folding chair specific for use with your toddler and their booster seat. It will protect your antique chairs and be big enough for modern booster seats. If that’s not a possibility, make sure to get a booster that can be strapped down below the seat and around the back of the chair. That should ensure no tip overs. Hopefully that helps!

I have small antique chairs and all of the boosters will hang over the edges. I wanted to get the ingenuity. I am not sure if this ok or not. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you!

Sonia — I wouldn’t think you’d have a problem with upholstery, but I suppose it would depend on the exact fit with the chair… I think you’d *likely still have a good fit! Good luck!
