When my due date came and went and after a few dozen messages from people checking in and asking if we had the baby yet, I just broke down. I felt like I had disappointed our whole community and that my body was somehow a failure. Then a friend of mine went into labor early on our due date and I completely lost it. Spent the day avoiding the phone and randomly crying into things like my lunch. Thank you for sharing your story and making me not feel like a crazy person!

Of course, he never did drop, and they scheduled my c-section. Maybe I’m not a good example, since my babies don’t drop. Ever.
